What is this thing called "Climate Change"?


Why is it important?


Every country on every continent is currently affected by climate change. It is harming lives and destabilizing national economies, costing people, towns, and countries dearly today and even more in the future.

It is a problem that necessitates international coordination and cooperation.


We need to understand this phenomenon from the very basics and each one of us will have to act appropriately.

The Climate Crisis – A Race We Can Win

Climate change is the defining crisis of our time and it is happening even more quickly than we feared. But we are far from powerless in the face of this global threat. As UN Secretary-General António Guterres pointed out in September, “the climate emergency is a race we are losing, but it is a race we can win”.

Coastal communities in Mexico, Bangladesh and Somalia are struggling to adapt to the climate crisis. Many people have already lost livelihoods and homes to rising waters
